If you ask any student at the esteemed Tiferet Yonatan Yehoshua Yeshiva, under the leadership of Rabbi Zabihi, what the most cherished time of the year is, they will all say: the highlight of the entire year is undoubtedly the month of Tishrei, when the atmosphere in the Yeshiva reaches unparalleled heights.

Beginning with the month of Elul, characterized by uplifting Selichot ceremonies and captivating Friday night lectures delivered by our esteemed Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Yitzhak.

When Rosh Hashanah arrives, the atmosphere continues to soar to unimaginable heights, leading into the Ten Days of Repentance, filled with continuous study sessions on various fascinating topics and special lectures delivered by the Yeshiva's rabbis, Rabbi Eliyahu Adari at the Mea Shearim branch, and Rabbi Yosef Chaim at the Katamon branch

Then comes Yom Kippur, when many alumni return, unwilling to miss the sacred day's atmosphere in the Yeshiva, and the moving Ne'ilah prayer led by our esteemed Rosh Yeshiva. Those who haven't experienced the moment when the cry from the students 'I called with all my heart, answer me, O Lord, I will observe your decrees' haven't witnessed a true moment of purity and holiness. The breaking of the Yom Kippur fast is also done with great splendor in honor of the unparalleled elevation of Yom Kippur.

During the joyous days of Sukkot, the traditional "Receiving the Teacher" event and holiday celebration take place with the kollel members and Yeshiva families, and this year the event included a special Kiddush in honor of the birth of a daughter in our esteemed Rosh Yeshiva's family.
The pinnacle of the Tishrei holidays is Simchat Torah, when all branches, hundreds of students, alumni, and families gather together for the Hakafot in honor of the Torah, creating a special and uplifting atmosphere. Yeshiva students recount that the Hakafot on Simchat Torah last for hours. This year, a special ceremony was held during the sixth Hakafah, including a prayer and 'Mi Sheberach' for the three pillars of the Yeshiva.

Throughout the Tishrei holidays, the Yeshiva administration continuously provides lavish meals, refreshments, and beautifully set tables for the students to enjoy.
Truly, how magnificent is the sight of the Yeshiva students emerging from the holy sanctuary – the Tishrei holidays filled with holiness and purity, ready to embrace the upcoming winter term.

It is worth noting that the Yeshiva administration responded to the call of the great rabbis of Israel, and the Rosh Yeshiva issued a special letter to advance the start of the term to Wednesday, 8th of Tishrei.

It goes without saying that at the Katamon branch, the prayers are held in the Suleimani Hall and the meals are held in the Landa Hall, while at the Mea Shearim branch, the prayers and studies are conducted in the Gefner Hall.
